Getting Started with Exódus® Web3 Wallet — Exódus® Browser

Exódus® Web3 Wallet lets you manage crypto, interact with dApps, and use the Exódus® Browser Extension securely. Install from official sources, create/restore a wallet, and learn quick security tips below.

Install Exódus® — App or Extension

Visit the official Exodus website and choose the Desktop download for Windows/macOS/Linux or install the Exódus® Browser Extension from the Chrome/Edge/Firefox store.

Create or Restore a Wallet

Open the app/extension and select Create New Wallet to generate a new seed phrase, or select Restore Wallet if you already have a seed. Write down your 12–24 word recovery phrase on paper — never store it digitally.

Secure Your Wallet

Enable a strong password, set up a hardware wallet if you use one, and turn on additional protections (e.g., biometric unlock where available). Keep backups of the recovery phrase in multiple secure locations.

Using the Exódus® Browser for dApps

When interacting with decentralized apps, confirm permission prompts carefully. Use the browser extension to connect accounts, sign transactions, and manage tokens. Only connect to dApps you trust.

Send, Receive & Portfolio

Use the Receive address to accept funds and the Send flow to transfer tokens. Check the integrated portfolio and swap features inside the app to monitor balances and exchange assets without leaving Exódus®.
